Our Kitchen Angel...
Kathleen washed all the dishes after our staff lunch meeting yesterday.
I refused her offer at first (of course my Korean culture never allows an older person do such a thing in front of a young person...), but she insisted and was telling me, "Young, I can't wash your feet now, but I can wash your dish..."
It was not only beautiful line itself she said but it also reminded me of my master Jesus and my recent Stephen Ministry training. (I have just learned about Servanthood vs. Servitude in the Stephen Ministry training last week.).
Clifton was telling me about writing a blog about Kathleen being our kitchen angel in our office. So I took a picture and here it is Kathleen... We love you Kathleen!!!
"Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. " (John 13:3-5)
